Rear wheel brakes

I have question about the rear wheel brake backing plate. In my manual, a
picture of it shows the bleed screw at the bottem, of the plate, and the
adjusting screw at the top. Whitch one is right? Tris thing has been apart
for about five years. I took a lot of pictures and took alot of notes and
they were all lost in a move.
