I promised a lister that I'd scan in an image of a 1963 MGB ad that showed wide
white wall tires. It was from the 6/63 issue of R&T. While I had it open I
glanced at the 'Market Place' Ads. I'm now ill. One of my 'Pick 4' cars was a
1955 MG 300SL; here are some prices from R&T 6/63: Complete Factory
Reconditioning $5850; Immaculate condition $5500; all racing modifications
$5500; '56 completely overhauled, never raced $5200; perfect condition $5200.
Also: C-type Jaguar, excellent condition, $3000. 1956 A-H LeMans Factory model
$1200. '58 Ferrari Scaglietti California 250 $6000.
