Unless I have to work under the car that requires the wheels to be free or if the whole car has to be in the air, I like the Rhino plastic formed ramps. I typically use them when I have to change the oil or grease drive shaft nipples, etc. I feel the most comfortable (or least unconfortable) with these units. Otherwise, when using conventional stands, I have a double redundancy using 3 floor jacks at various points (on an MGA) -- and I still hate going underneath. Art D. |
