If a car has overheating problem, putting in a lower temp thermostat is not the answer; that's just delaying the inevitable. We must face facts: Cars require maintenance. I know that some will say that there are folks who can't afford to do costly repairs but delay can lead to even more costly repairs; say replacing a blown head gasket versus having the radiator rodded out. Anyway, if one is going to drive a motor vehicle one must budget for the costs involved. Charley Robinson '69 B |
