Me again,

Well I spoke to Hans and it seems he has a kit for Big Healeys under
development. Having seen the pic of the B install I imagine one on a 6 port
3000 would be awesome!! Brings up the question of MGC's as well.. Anyway the
kit is apparently 6-12 months away from completion (wouldn't give me a firm
date). I can't imagine it would be cheap (the midget/sprite & mga/mgb kits
are in the 3/4G USD range respectively), but then again if you wanted that
sort of power (100% increase on MGB at least) and tried to do it
conventionally it would be hugely expensive and then you'd end up with a
race car not something you could drive on the street. I must have spent
2/3rds of that on my BGT for racing, for a what - a 35-50% power increase at
most.. hmm.. Unfortunately you can't use a supercharger in production sports
racing. <VBG>
I've decided when I win Lotto I'm getting one for my MGA. hehehe.. watch
those 165's go up in smoke!! <G>
Cheers,
Neil.
