Trunk lock problem

Hi Gang,

This is my first call for help so be gentle.  

I've got an 80 mgb with a trunk lock mechanism whose pawl securing screw has 
backed off to the point it won't turn along with the key when unlocking thus 
preventing me from opening it.  

Anyone have any creative tips on how I can non-destructively break into my 
trunk ??
