Thanks for your suggestions, your encouragement is much appreciated because this
is really getting to me. I have: had starter rebuilt, new solenoid, check
voltage at battery & at starter (13v), cleaned fuse box, checked fuses, cleaned
relay contacts, checked ground (ran temp ground wire direct to starter case). I
get nothing from the starter when jumping the small solenoid terminal to the
primary starter terminal except a few sparks. Looks like the solenoid is still
bad. I'm getting quite good at R&R the starter.
