I agree with the others...the correct answer is body color underneath
undercoating. I too just spray-painted satin (matte) black when the
undercoating started to show the body color underneath. This was after I
scrubbed off all the dirt, of course, which caused the 25 year old
undercoating to rub off and show Blaze Red underneath!
