Due to the overwhelming lack of response I got from the list regarding
the question of painting my wheel wells I'm going to have another go at
it. Let me explain. I've always owned a TRIUMPH. And with TRIUMPH
motorcars I know where the battery is and what color the wheel wells
should be.
Now. I am resurrecting from near death a car I heretofore would have
had nothing to do with, and in the words of Dr. Evil (from Austin
Powers), "I need a little frickin' help here. Somebody throw me a
bone".
OK. So. Should the wheel wells be painted black, the same color as the
body, or glow-in-the-frickin'-dark pink? I want to stay original and
have no one else to turn to but the list.
I've watched the list discourse driveline removal, baby seats, and now
spark plugs 'til I wanna puke. I just need one definitive answer. And
if I show up and my wheel wells are painted pink and everybody else's
are painted body color, I'll know you weren't being straight with me.
;>)
Pre.S. if I ask the Triumph list what to paint the wheel wells of an
MGBGT I !KNOW! I won't get a straight answer... but at least I'll get an
answer.
Pre.S.S anybody going to the LBC Autojumble in Portland, OR next
weekend?
Thank you ever so much,
Lonn Howard
