Most restructuring jobs of an MGB per side will cost about $1000-1200 in
labour. Tack on the price of parts and multiply the total by two (both
sides) and you're looking at $3000min. Add an excellent paint job and
you're too $4500.
When I say restructure I mean, cut away and replace...
Inner Side Member (inner sill)
Castle Rail
Inner Rocker Panel
Rocker Filler
Jacking Bracket
Jacking Bracket Brace
Floor (L/R)
Crossmember
Rear Quarter Panel Section (outside fender area encircling the wheel)
Front Quarter Panel Section (dog leg region)
As far as people who do this in the PA/NJ/DE area you may want to contact
DSA Auto Services in Levittown PA. Mainly because their body specialist,
Albert, does an incredible job and is VERY experienced with MGB body
repairs. Ph: 215-547-8779.
Otherwise I'd recommend The Roadster Works in Trevose PA, who does all the
work on my TR6 and will be fixing some accident damage to my drivers side
soon. Unfortunately Rich is very busy, but you can give him a call at
215-355-0833. Great person to deal with, and is usually willing to let you
watch for a bit while he works and explains what he is doing.
You also have British Miles in Morrisville PA. But I can't comment on the
quality of their bodywork anymore as they started to outsource it to another
body shop.
chocks away,

PS: as you can see I'm not the sellout some of you proclaimed me to be, I
still have the MGB!
