There is little/no mechanical similiarity between the MGA and the Hindustan
Ambassador any longer because the Hindustan Ambassador (Austin Cambridge) uses
Izusu Deisel mechanical components in that pretty Austin body. They have been
this way for many years now. There are few/no junkyards in India where you
can go hunting for old Ambassador parts (parts that might be similiar) because
all the cars are still on the road! This is a country with little rust so a
worn out car is just made new again. Austin Cambridge owners should rejoice
however if they go to India because all the body panels are still made there
for thier cars.
