I used clear silicone also. As an added bonus, you can use it to
fill cracks if the badge ever gets chipped by a stone. I took my
old badge off the car, fixed the chips, then used silicon to bond it
to a beer mug that used to have the Lowenbrau emblem on it. Just
like new!
