Have a look at page 117 of the February issue of Classic and Sports Car.
It is an article on the Lotus Europa, and they give a mention to our favourite
marque.
Unfortunately, they say "Anyone raised on A60s - or even the two-seat version,
the MGB......."
Arrggghh. While I take the occasional shot at the later maladroit rubber
lipped subspecies myself, (I even admit having called them Austin Marina
convertibles as they use the same spec engine as the Marina), this sort of
comparison is IMO completely unwarranted for the early 'B's, which are
perfectly respectable sports cars, with little or none of the carry over from
the stodgy saloons that the running gear originated with.
