There is never any excuse for a wheel to go its own way. The knockoffs
are reverse-threaded on the offside so that all of the wheels will have
a tendency to tighten themselves. On one occasion, an acquintance of
mine accidently ordered a left-side hub for the right side. He mounted
it anyway. He lost his wheel twice before he finally got the picture.
The only drawback to wires is that they do require some maintenance, but
rarely. I've only have the wires on Tintin tuned once in 133,000 miles.
...and they do look nice!!
