Mike,
The coupe came from the factory with the dash finished with the fake
leather. The color depended on the color of the car. Don't do what I've
seen done by some people...remove the covering then paint the dash.
The old glue is tough to get off and you need to do a good job of preping
the dash surface. Those little imperfections are very noticable when only
inches from ones face.
