THat OK Bill, It's the thought that counts. It seems that the majority 
favor vapor lock, the rest think the timing. I will play with both this 
week end and see where it gets me. (too many late nights at work this 
week). 
The starter spins like normal when hot or cold when it starts after hot 
it runs rough then clears up. I though too rich, but when I leaned it out 
it runs worse.
