Larry-

It sounds like a classic case of vapor lock.  I'm not familiar with the
Weber - but could the fuel line be routed too close to the exhaust manifold
or other very hot item?  Do you have a heat shield like the SU setup has?
If not - you may want to reroute the fuel line or shield the line from the
heat source.
