Actually its a "chicken and egg" thing -not really a "response" since the
Range Rover was introduced in 1969 and remained essentially unchanged
until its facelift in 1993, the same year jeep facelifted the
Cherokee/Wagoneer - they now look surprisingly similar (but then so do
Nissans/Toyotas and whatnot in their various groups)
Hate to say it but having owned a jeep since 93, I compared the Range
Rover in 96 and .......got another jeep
