I really hope you're not as pissed as that reply sounded.
My remark was made in jest, fun, light-heartedness, happy after-glow if you
will, and for simple humorous reasons of esprit de corps on the MG list, NOT
to be disparaging of anyone or any car. I've said before that I love all
cars. I don't pretend to be expert on any make or model, and I never will be
because when I am, the "magic" will be gone.
Would that I COULD own a Healey! I would! And a Jag, a Porsche, hell, you
name it!
If my remarks were taken as parochial marqueeism, which is as loathsome to
me as anyone, than I apologize sincerely!
Sheesh!...lighten up and take my jibe in context...I was celebrating the
unity of the LBC crowd, and just making an (apparently) weak attempt at
sharing the jovial environment with my fellow MG owners.
I'll be more careful about pinching the sore nerves next time.
