Hi Scott,
Welcome to the list. My guess is that the MGF was not made for the US
market because of the modifications it would require to meet all our
Federal regulations (pollution and safety - Uncle Sam protecting us from
ourselves). Maybe because it's so new, they didn't want to commit to
making different versions of it at this time. The rumors abound,
though, and the day may soon come when new MGs start coming across the
pond.
