I'm not so convinced it's the battery. The internal contacts in the horn
may be a bit corroded, so it's probably just on the hairy edge of working
correctly, but needs the extra juice of the generator to make it go. I
have a similar condition on my B. I did change the battery when the old
one ran down, but the horn situation stayed the same. Just my $.02, ymmv.
