It depends why you are going to do it - if you are going to
recover/reupholster the seat then it comes off last once everything else
is gone and the frame is bare!! (there are two miserable little spring
loaded barbs at the bottom of the headrest shaft to stop it coming out
of the frame)
To remove it with the cover still in place is beyond my
comprehension.........
