TF Rear Axle

I pulled off one of the rear drums on the TF tonight to check the brake
shoes to find that it was covered in oil.  Since I've never had to do
anywork on the rear axle of a car I thought I'd bounce it off the list. It
looks like I need to remove what the workshop manual calls the
'Support-brake plate' or moss calls '226-380 Housing,bearing' to get access
to the oil seal. Is there anything else that needs to be done or any
gotchas that I should know about.
