Learn to double clutch. This is mandatory in non-synchro (crashbox)
transmissions. Neither my TC or the GT has first gear synchro so I'm
getting good at it. It entails depressing the clutch to disengage second,
releasing the clutch, blip the throttle to bring engine rpm up then
depressing the clutch again and shift into first. Simple description but
enough to get you rolling.
The only remedy is practice, lot's and lots of practice. The only way you
can practice is to drive, and drive and....You get the picture.
