I was tempted to mention this earlier but "fear of the flame" stopped me
- however honesty being the best policy....................
I spent most of last winter rebuilding my 72s SUhif4s - basically
replacing everything, some parts twice, spending hours and hours trying
to tune them then hours more trying to get back to base tune so i could
start again.....and they still were not right.
Doubtless much of this is the ineptitude of the amateur but i also spent
more than a little on pro tunes as well and guess what................
I didnt tot up the actual cost but last summer, a man far wiser than I
pointed out that at about $500 a new set was in real terms a bloody
bargain! -
the money was spent, installed and tuned in an afternoon and that was
5000 miles ago and i havnt touched them since....
oh - by the way - I dont like webers! - one carb seems like one too few
on a B!
