Choke Link

I have a 58 Magnette with a oil-filled air filter. I want to change to 
regular MGA filters, but I don't have any place to put the choke cable. 
Can I use the abutment bracket from an MGA for this?

Also, does anyone know of any Magnette-specific parts suppliers? I 
know of NTG in England, but I was wondering if there were any 
others. Thanks for any suggestions.
