Heh heh. This was supposed to be funny. I wasn't calling the guys
bastards, but the cars. Not meant to offend, but like the guy with the
"Bastard Bugeye" -- I think that's a cool name. These guys are my
friends, and their cars are very nice. One took best in 1960-64 this past
weekend at Ruidoso. It's _highly_ modified: B engine, SU H6s, highway
geared rearend, minilite knockoffs (both meanings), non-original metalic
tealish paint, CD player, lots of stuff. Beautiful car, just not my
style. I think the coolest thing about it is no heater. Anyway the
reason they put B engines in was because they needed to do a rebuild and
they wanted more power. Both of these guys were listed as MGA 1800s at
the show. I walked by and said "bastards!" and we all laughed.
