Children! Stop this Lucas bashing at once! The stock fuel pumps are
_not_ garbage. Like most of the subsystems on my car, they are amazing
engineering designs. If they ever have a problem they can just about
always be cleaned, adjusted, or repaired as necessary. Not so with the
throwawy crap they put on _new_ (throwaway) cars in this "modern"
throwaway society. Of course, some things that are meant to last require
periodic maintenance. Clean, adjust, and/or repair your fuel pump as
necessary and feel good about a job well done.
Oh, by the way, it's a beautiful grey drizzling day here in Albuquerque.
Drove in to work with the hood down, half tonneau on, big smile on my face.
Love this car! Looks like it will be raining all weekend for our big
trip down to Ruidoso. I know some of the people going don't even _have_
hoods.
