Actually, 165SR14's are available off the shelf, if you can find someone who
sells European tyres.  Fulda, a German manufacturer, makes just this size
with a very agressive tread.  I'm certain there are others, as well.

My suggestion, for both wire wheels and tyres, would be to find a shop with a
good recommendation for seating motorcycle tyres.  This is usually a good
indication that they know what they're about with wire wheels.
