Far be it from my experience, but I have never seen a hydraulic e-brake. The only way that I can see the e-brake affecting the hydraulic system is if the rear brake "system" is worn and out of adjustment. This would allow the piston in the rear wheel cylinder to become cocked or wedged and lock up the primary brake shoe even when the brakes are released.
