Hello again,
Thanks to all who sent advice on the oil holes in the rocker arm
bushings. Because everyone was suggesting that it ought to have two
holes, yet the ones I removed only had one I decided to take apart the
spare 69 cylinder head and see what it had. Sure enough the earlier head
has two oil holes and hollow adjusting screws (to adjust the valve
clearance).
So my next question is... which is better/needed for long life?
Does the earlier style help lube the camshaft? How does the cam normally
get oiled?
Update on the 75. Yes it has the 72(?) anniversary dash plate.

Unfortunately, the ignition switch which was not working was also
in pieces when we removed the cover so finding all of the little pieces
is going to be tough. Also, I have been advised that the new switches
are NLA. Any advice? Any other years switches I can use? What do they
use on those new body shells people put together?
