The problem is, that when a OEM part becomes available again, they will
cancel your exemption. (oops..) California now gives no exemptions for
anything, but when they still did, their practice was to consider a
replacement part the same as an OEM for the sake of exemptions, hence when
someone started making a vital smog piece on the aftermarket, you were
instantly _obligated_ to buy it.
