Sorry, missed Denise's earlier question on what this means. It's
Net-speak for "If Memory Serves". Obviously, it didn't. What I had done
15 years ago when I replaced the standard tranny on my '74 B-GT with an
OD tranny was to put in the tranny, cable, speedo head and all.
BTW (By The Way), one doesn't wreck the tranny or the OD if one forgets
to go back to standard, then starts off in 1st or 2nd. One just gets a
heck of a surprise when there's no oomph there when one hits 3rd over! :-)
I do it all the time. Maybe it's time to start driving an automatic! :-)
