in reference to the comments about a digest, you suggested filtering. If 
you happen to be on a MAC the program I use called Claris Emailer has the 
ability to filter on any field or test. I presently send all mail from 
the mg listserver to a separate file to read later offline and not have 
it overwhelm my more important (?) mail. Program works great and also 
checks for mail at e-World, AOL, etc. as will as internet on a selectable 
schedule in the backgound.
