Whoops, I stuffed up when I said that the WW half shafts were ~ 1/2"
longer, I meant ~ 1/2 shorter (or as Ray pointed out 9/16) or conversely
that the steel half shafts are longer..

Or to be clearer, ww shafts and hubs on a steel wheel axle housing.
