I found the Moss parts catalog.  The two luggage racks are known as:

-  AMCO Luggage Rack (tubular throughout) detachable  #244-000
                                          permanent   #646-000

-  Factory Optional (flat mount)          only model  #244-710

I don't know the demensions.  However, the picture and from seeing some 
firsthand seems the Factory Optional have a more narrow mount.
