The inside cover of my last copy of the MGB Driver says:

  Owning a MGB is not a prerequsite but if you do own one, The 
register will ask you about it/them to include it/them in the 
registry.  Compliance with this request is also not a prereq for 
membership, but $25/year dues is!  A pitance for the perks of 
membership.  A subscription to the Driver is more valuable than that.
