While you're there, check the brakes and hydraulics, and of course completely drain the rear axle and put new 80w90 in, also clean out the breathe hole in the top of the axle and readjust the brakes and handbrake when done. Check the rear shock fluid levels and fastening bolts, and the check-strap on the rear end. Clean away excess crud from everything, and check for rust starting (?) around the sills and inner fenders. (they don't rust, do they?) See how a simple project can grow? Enjoy! |
