The literature says the auto was only available to the brits on the MGB. The MGC is another story. You may find a few B's over here, possibly from some military personnel, but that's about it. I wouldn't want one either, but there are those who don't like manual transmissions, or have their own reasons for one (physical limitations, or for the rare car).
