>From Todd Mullins:
- What's the deal with those zip-out rear windows? When it comes time
for my top replacement (probably next year), do I want one?
YES! I use mine alot - especially when a) I don't have time to put the top
down (and who does?), or b) it is too hot to put it down.
- What's this sticker on the left-hand side of my steering column which
reads "Caution: Manual Store Release Lever", with an arrow pointing
down the column towards the bulkhead?
Idunno! What year B is this?
- What's a MOWOG?
It's like a MOPAR or a FOMOCO except it leaks... and it should be installed
by Mr Goodspanner. (It's B(PS)L's parts brand: derived from something like
MO-rris WO-lsely m-G.)
- Why did B(PS)L reverse the taillamp wiring on '70-'80 US-spec models?
Idunno that either. How do you mean "reverse" - I'm not very familiar with
pre '70s taillamp wiring.
' Haven't had the rusty '71 out for awhile but seems I remember the side
marker lights only go on with the headlights - *not* with the parking
lights. A friend has a '73 B with a *2-speed*, original- looking, heater
fan switch. My '76 B has a gold logo on the horn push instead of the usual
red - and it's a year too late for the fiftieth-anniversary '75 models.
