Allen, #1) Thanks for the insight. I made the mistake of assuming that the previous owner(s) had it installed and set-up correctly. #3) I have heard of the moth ball trick. In the spring how long does the smell last after you remove them. Moth balls have the same affect on me as they do on rodents. Maybe I'll have to look around the back yard for a nice black snake.
