Sound deadning material

Folks at world,

Some while ago there was some chat on sound deadning stuff.  What I am
looking for is that heavy (the only thing that stops sound is mass!)
bitumastic material with a sticky side. It is the sort of stuff found in
original panels - but heavier.

Any one know where I can get it ?  And before I get all sorts of the
obvious responses - I mean the material!!!!!!!!!
