Again, thanks to all for your helpful suggestions. I stopped by my local
radiator shop, owned by a LBC nut- his passion is TVR's- & had my
coolant checked for combustion gasses. This is a quick test (2 minutes)
that detects head gasket leaks. In my case, the result was negitive, no
head gasket failure, not even a small leak.

This leaves only the cam timing & radiator as the possible culprits.
Since the hot running seems to have been a gradual thing, the radiator
seems more likely. Can't see any reason why it would be clogging up, It
was more than adequate last summer, but who knows. I am learning the
fine art of temp maintenance while driving, no A/C, Georgia overdrive,
etc, so I don't have to make a quick decision about the rad. I am
thinking about a triple flow unit. Anyone have any first hand experience
or knowledge of this type of radiator? I have a 4 row high effiency core
now, the manufacturer of the triple claims it is as much of an
improvement over the HE as the HE is over the standard core- General
Radiator out of California.
