Things have been slow on the V8 list. I am finally beginning to make new
progress on my V8 vonversion. I had test fitted the 302 engine & T5 tranny
last summer and made initial plans for installation. Now the rotating
assembly is back from the machine shop, had it balanced. Already have the
block, punched .030 over, on the engine stand. With the pistons pressed on
the rods, the engine is ready to begin final assembly.

On another note, I am going to look at a rusted out '73 MGB for parts today.
I am interested in robbing it of the chrome bumpers to put on my '80 RBB. I
saw the kit offered in the V8 newsletter, so I thought I would try it. Has
anybody done this conversion either w/ the kit or on their own? How difficult
is it?

One more question: What is the status of Kurt Schley's V8 newsletter? I
received a complimentary copy and was very impressed. Unfortunately, Kurt
mentioned in the newsletter that he was going to turn the publication over to
somebody else. Who is doing it and how do I contact them for subscribing?

Thanks,
