Mike,
Beware of intake systems. Backing the engine up to what Glenn calls "The
A/C position" also gives more room under the hood for EFI/carbs and
aircleaners. In the standard position, you will probably end up hitting the
center crossmember of the hood (some people just cut it off) and there is
still less space due to the slope of the hood.
You have probably thought of all of this and measured it already- just
thought I'd point it out.
