Jim and all, Ouch! $100? If it's nothing more than changing a resistor, I can do that in less time than it takes for the soldering iron to warm up! Aren't *new* 8 cylinder Smiths tachs less than $150? I've got an extra Smiths tach about, I'm going to do some reverse engineering and some research. I'll let you guys know what I find out.
