Hello Howard,
If you are happy with the 34R; use a BCI group 34. The 34 is the
same
size, however the post are reversed on the 34R. The modern battery of
today is
more universal with the terminal post generally are offset of
center, and no
longer dedicated to the extreme edge.
Any deep cycle battery
would be a good choice. Look for a battery with a high
ampere hour rating and
long reserve capacity, as the cold cranking amps (CCA) is
of very little
consequence in our cars.

TF Battery size
Hi Folks. The battery in my '54 TF has bit the dust, and I
need a replacement.
Is the Group 26 the best replacement? The one in there
now is a 34R, which
doesn't seem to be a common number.
