Greg, If the leak is in fact the drain plug and not something higher on the tank as Doug suggest, RectoSeal 5, sold anywhere that carries plumbing supplies will stop the leak if you apply it to the plug threads. This is the stuff I use on fuel pump fittings that defy any other fix.
