It occurs to me that the length of the wires is, to some extent, dependent
on the orientation of the distributor. I have found that with the flat side
facing forward, not only does the tach reduction box miss the distributor
hot lead if it drops down, but the wires run to the spark plugs with the
minimum length and generally do not cross each other.

hi, all.
purchased new spark plug wires (plus cap, rotor, and petronix).
looks pretty easy to replace the existing wires, but was wondering if anyone
had the preferred lengths (measurements) and if there are any tricks or
traps
i should know about. this is my first foray into the "build it yourself"
spark plug wires; i've read the directions and am pretty sure I know how to
do
it.
