[Mg-t] TD carpet question

A few years ago I put Moss rag carpet in my TD.  I noticed at a show  
that someone else's rag carpet is trimmed to fit better.   I'm  
guessing Moss supplies it bigger but does anyone have details on how  
the carpet originally fit from the factory?   Was it a little big and  
just overlapped or was it trimmed up perfectly.
